Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a proposal to increase the minimum daily wage for all categories of workers by Rs 26, effective from January 1, 2023. The decision to increase the minimum wage was taken in view of the rising inflation and the need to provide economic and social support to the workers.

Revised Minimum Wages in Rajasthan From 01 January 2023 for 52 Scheduled Employments

The Department of Labour, Government of Rajasthan has issued an official notification on 31 August 2023, increasing the minimum wages for 52 scheduled employments in the state. The revised minimum wages will be effective from January 1, 2023.

The notification covers all 52 scheduled employments mentioned in Part I and Part II of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. The minimum wages have been increased for unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, and highly skilled employees.

The latest minimum wages in Rajasthan, effective from January 1, 2023, will be as follows:
