The Labour Department of Tripura issued an official notification dated 22 November 2022, Tuesday of revised minimum rates of wages of the employees engaged in Shops And Establishments and Private Security Guards in Tripura. The new rates of wages will be applicable from 01 October 2022.

The Basic Wages have been revised for employees engaged in Shops And Establishments in Tripura effective from 01 October 2022.

Skilled: Accountant, Sarkar, Welder, Fitter, Mechanic, Boring, Machine Man, Type Retreader, Head Mistry, Mistry, Radio Mechanic, Printer Mechanic, Dry Cleaner, Radio Mechanic, Black Smith, Printer Mechanic, Photographer, Clerk, Salesman, Compounder, Pharmacist, Cashier, Data Entry Operator.

Semi-Skilled: Weight Man, Hawker, Porter.

Un-Skilled: Peon, Night Guard, Leader

Revised Minimum Rates of Wages for Private Security Guards in Tripura October 2022

The Basic Wages have also been revised for employees engaged in Private Security Guards in Tripura effective from 01 October 2022.

Semi-Skilled: Head Security Guard, Supervisor.

Skilled: Security Guard, Watchman, Darwan.

Note

For both Shops & Establishments and Private Security Guards-

To arrive at daily rates of wages the Total Per Month shall be divided by 26 and rounded off to the next rupee.
The overtime rate shall be double the ordinary rate of wages.
