The minimum wages for Shops and Establishments in Puducherry have been revised by the government and will be effective from 01 January 2020. This revised minimum rate of wages is applicable in the year 2024 also till the next update.
Revised Minimum Wages in Puducherry From 01 Jan 2020
An official notification dated 16 July 2020 has been released by the Labour Department, Government of Puducherry. According to the notification, Dearness Allowance is payable to the classes of employees employed in the employment of Shops & Establishments in the Union Territory of Puducherry w.e.f. 01 January 2020 would be ₹ 233/- per month.
