Revised Minimum Wages for Shops & Establishments in Maharashtra January 2024
The Labour Commissioner’s Office has issued an official notification dated 05 February 2024, announcing an increase in Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for employees working under Shops and Establishments. The revised VDA is now set at ₹ 3,068.00 per month, up from the previous ₹ 2,678.00 per month, indicating a hike of ₹ 390.00 per month.
These revised rates of minimum wages will be applicable from 01 January 2024 to 30 June 2024.
