The Nagaland government has updated the minimum wages for all Scheduled Employment, effective from 14 June 2019. These revised rates remain applicable in Nagaland for the year 2024 until further notice.

Minimum Wages Revised in Nagaland From 14 June 2019

The Labor Department of the Government of Nagaland issued an official notification on 14 June 2019. The notification states that the minimum wages for employees/workers in the state of Nagaland, as outlined in Schedules 1-19, have been revised with immediate effect from 14 June 2019.

  8. Information & Communication
  9. Veterinary &Animal Husbandry
  10. Agriculture
  11. Horticulture
  12. Sericulture
  13. Forestry
  14. Khadi &Village Industries
  15. Water Supply, Sewage & Extraction &Waste Management
  16. Extraction & Management of Underground Water
  17. Education & Educational Support Services
  18. Government, Government Undertakings & Local Authority (Casual Contingency Employee)
  19. Building & Other Construction works

Salary/Rates Calculation

For the calculation of the Rate Per Month (Monthly Rates), you have to multiply the Rate Per Day by 30.
