Revised Minimum Wages in Jharkhand From 01 April 2023
Minimum Wages in Jharkhand have been revised with effect from 01 April 2023 and will be applicable till 30 September 2023. Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been increased for Unskilled, Semi-Skilled, Skilled and Highly Skilled employees employed in 77 Schedule Employments and Government Offices / Undertakings / Boards & Local Bodies of Jharkhand.
VDA is revised on the basis of the consumer price index. The Governor of Jharkhand has declared the consumer price index number applicable to the employees employed in scheduled employment. The detail/calculation of the Increase Consumer Price Index (CPI) is mentioned below.
