Revised Minimum Wages in Gujarat From 01 April 2023
Minimum Wages in Gujarat have been revised by the Government of Gujarat and will be effect from 01 April 2023. The revised minimum wages will be applicable and payable to all Unskilled, Semi-Skilled and Skilled employees employed in 46 Scheduled Employment of the whole State of Gujarat. The rates have been revised on the basis of the average cost of living index number.
An Official Notification (KHR/2023/28/LVD/10/2022/18/M2) dated 27 March 2023 regarding revised minimum wages in Gujarat from 01 April 2023 was issued by Mr. Vijay Sangadiya, Under Secretary to Government. A copy of the official notification is given below.

Explanation
Zone-I : Zone-I shall comprise the area in the State of Gujarat within the limits of the Municipal Corporation as constituted under the Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 and the areas within the limits of the Municipality as constituted under the Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963 and the areas falling within the jurisdiction of concerned Urban Development Authority and Nagar Palika.
Zone-II : Zone-II shall comprise all the areas in the State of Gujarat other than those included in Zone-I.
Salary Calculation
For the calculation of the Total Per Month / Monthly Salary, you have to multiply the Total Per Day by 26.
- Total Per Month / Monthly Salary = Total Per Day X 26
