Increased Minimum Wages for Shops and Establishments in Madhya Pradesh From 01 April 2023
The minimum wages for Shops and Establishments in Madhya Pradesh have been increased with effect from 01 April 2023. The new rates of wages will be applicable to all 67 Scheduled Employment covered under Minimum Wages Act, 1948. Dr. Virendra Singh Rawat, Labour Commissioner, Indore, Madhya Pradesh issued an official notification dated 31 March 2023 regarding this.
The employees employed under the 67 scheduled employment are eligible to get the increased rate of wages from 01 April 2023.
Calculation of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA)
The increase has been done in Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) with effect from 01 April 2023. Let’s see the calculation of the increased VDA in the below table.
