Minimum Wages in Bihar have been revised with effect from 01 April 2023. By the order of the Governor of Bihar, Mr. Satish Kumar Shahi, Under Secretary, has issued the notification dated 31 March 2023 of revised minimum wages in Bihar.
As per the notification, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been fixed/revised on the basis of the increased Consumer Price Index Number from July 2022 to December 2022.
Revised Minimum Wages for Shops and Establishments in Bihar From 01 April 2023
The Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been revised for all 69 Schedule Employment in Bihar for 6 months i.e. from 01 April 2023 to 30 September 2023.
