Minimum Wages in Chandigarh have been increased by ₹728 per month effective from 01 October 2022 as per the Consumer Price Index Number of Chandigarh.
Assistant Labour Commissioner, Union Territory, Chandigarh issued the Notification on 02 November 2022 vide Notice Number ST/(CPI)/2022-23/2503 of increased Minimum Wages in Chandigarh.
According to this notification, increased minimum rates of wages payable for monthly and daily rated employees for the period starting from 01 October 2022 to 31 March 2023 will be as follows.

Salary Calculation
For the calculation of Per Day Wages (Daily Rates), you have to divide the Total Per Month by 26.
- Per Day Salary (Daily Rates) = Total Per Month ÷ 26
