Dr. Piyush Singla, IAS, Secretary to the Government issued an official notification on 30 December 2022 vide Government Order No. 1596-JK (GAD) of 2022 regarding declared holidays in Jammu And Kashmir for the Year 2023, by order of the Lieutenant Governor.

According to this notification, the holidays listed in Annexures “A” & “B” to order shall be observed in the Government Offices and Educational Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir during the calendar Year 2023.
