Bihar Government and Bank Holidays List 2024
The Bihar Government has published the holiday schedule for Government Offices and Banks located in Bihar for the year 2024. Mr. Ghufran Ahmad, Deputy Secretary of Bihar, issued a notification on September 11, 2023, listing the Public and Restricted Holidays for Government Offices, as well as the Holiday Schedule for Banks in 2024.

- The dates of Muslim festival holidays may change depending on the visibility of the moon.
- The five-day working week system will remain in force in the secretariat departments and directorates under the state government.
- Six-day working week system will continue to be applicable in regional offices (including offices of Divisional Commissioners, offices of Chief Engineers, etc.).
