The minimum wage rates for employees in 31 Scheduled Employments in West Bengal have been revised. The revised rates will be effective from 01 January 2025 to 30 June 2025. An official notification regarding this revision was issued by the Additional Labour Commissioner, West Bengal, on 04 December 2024.

For the calculation of 1-day salary (Daily Rates), you have to divide the Per Month by 26 (to be rounded off to the nearest rupee).
- 1-Day Salary (Daily Rates) = Per Month ÷ 26
For the calculation of the 6-day salary (Weekly Rates), you have to multiply the Per Day by 6.
- 6-Day Salary (Weekly Rates) = Per Day X 6
