Minimum Wages in Haryana Revised From 01 July 2024
The Labour Department of Haryana has recently updated the minimum wage rates for the state, which came into effect on 01 July 2024. This revision was officially announced by the Labour Commissioner of Haryana through a notification issued on 15 October 2024. Revised Minimum Wages in Haryana for 50 Scheduled Employments From 01 July 2024
Based on the Consumer Price Index Numbers, minimum wages undergo adjustment twice a year, typically in January and July.
As of the end of December 2023, the average worker’s Consumer Price Index was recorded at 3293.10. However, by June 2024, it had risen to 3326.60, indicating an increase of 33.50 index points over the span of 6 months.
Following the provisions outlined in section 5(2) of the minimum wage guidelines (as per the notification dated 21 October 2015), this translates to a 1.02% increase in the basic salary for workers across various categories and recognized professions.
Consequently, effective from 01 July 2024, the revised minimum wages for the 50 Scheduled Employments in Haryana are as follows:

Revised Minimum Wages in Haryana for Brick Kiln Industry From 01 July 2024
Similarly, the brick kiln industry has experienced a 1.02% increase in the basic pay across various worker categories.
As a result, effective from 01 July 2024, the revised minimum wage rates for different categories of workers in the brick kiln sector of Haryana are detailed below:

| Bharai Wala (Loading of bricks into Kiln) | (a) ₹ 282.03 per 1000 bricks loaded in the Kiln provided the distance from the field to the kiln is upto 400 meters. Beyond this distance, an additional wage of ₹ 25.01 per 1000 bricks for every additional 100 meters or part thereof shall be paid. These rates will be applicable to the Donkey / Khachar loader only. | |

For the calculation of the Total Per Day, you have to divide the Total Per Month by 26.
