Minimum Wages in Bihar Revised From October 2023
The Minimum Wages in Bihar have been updated, effective from 1st October 2023, as per an order by the Governor of Bihar. The notification, issued by Special Secretary Mr. Alok Kumar on 27th September 2023, details the revised minimum wages in Bihar.
In accordance with the notification, the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been adjusted based on the rise in the Consumer Price Index Number from January 2023 to June 2023.
Revised Minimum Wages for Shops and Establishments in Bihar From 01 October 2023
The Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been updated for all 69 Scheduled Employments in Bihar for a duration of 6 months, spanning from 1st October 2023 to 31st March 2024.
During the period from October 2023 to March 2024, the revised minimum wages for Shops and Establishments in Bihar are as follows:

Revised Minimum Wages for Papad Industry, Sailars Employments, Agarbatti Industry, and Safaies Karamcharis in Bihar From 01 October 2023
The Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been adjusted for four specific employments: Papad Industry, Sailors Employments, Agarbatti Industry, and Safaies Karamcharis. This revision is effective from 1st October 2023 and will be applicable until 31st March 2024.
