The Gujarat Government has declared the Public Holidays List of Gujarat for the Year 2023.

Mr. Jwalant Trivedi, Additional Secretary to Government, General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat, issued a Notification dated 05 November 2022 vide Notice No. GS/16/2022/PHD/102022/603/GH of declared Public Holidays in Gujarat for the Year 2023.

The declared Public Holidays will be applicable to all State Government Offices in Gujarat during the Year 2023.

Note 1 : The following days have not been notified as General Holidays as they fall on 2nd Saturday, 4th Saturday and Sunday.

Note 2 : If any of the Muslim religion Holidays notified above do not fall on the day notified, the Muslim Employees of the Government may be granted an optional holiday on the day on which the holiday is actually observed.

Note 3 : The holidays will also be applicable to all State Government Undertakings, Board, Corporations and Panchayat Offices.

The Government of Gujarat, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, Ahmedabad has declared the Public Holidays List for banks in Gujarat during the year 2023.
