The Public Holidays List of Tamil Nadu has been announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu and will be effective from 01 January 2023.
Mr. V. Irai Anbu, Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu issued the Orders dated 11 October 2022 vide Notice No. G.O.(Ms) No. 682 of the declared Public Holidays for the Year 2023.
According to this, Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, it would be applicable to all Government Offices and Commercial Banks including Co-operative Banks in Tamil Nadu.
It shall also apply to all State Government Undertakings / Corporations / Boards etc. in Tamil Nadu for the Year 2023.
