Revised Minimum Rates of Wages in Andaman And Nicobar Islands From 01 July 2023
Additional Secretary (Labour) / Labour Commissioner has released the notification dated 7th July 2023 vide notification no. 16/1/MW/2019-20/LC&DET/667 about the revised/increased minimum wages in Andaman And Nicobar Islands effective from 1st July 2023.
The minimum rates of wages have been revised on the basis of the Average All India Consumer Price Index from the period October 2022 to March 2023.
The revised minimum rates of wages will be applicable to all 6 Schedules of Employment in addition to Government Department / Offices / Industrial Establishments.
The Revised Minimum Wages in Andaman and Nicobar Islands with effect from 01 July 2023 will be as follows.

Salary/Rates Calculation
For the calculation of the Minimum Wage Per Month, you have to multiply the Minimum Wage Per Day by 26.
- Minimum Wage Per Month = Minimum Wage Per Day X 26
