The Government of Odisha has announced the revised minimum wage rates applicable from 1st October 2025 to 31st March 2026. As per the official notification issued by the Labour Commissioner, Odisha, on 21st November 2025, the minimum wages for all 91 Scheduled Employments will remain unchanged.
This is because the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Industrial Workers (Base 2016 = 100) increased only marginally from 143.55 to 143.58, showing a rise of just 0.03 points. Since the increase is too minimal, it does not result in any change in the VDA.
Therefore, as stated in the notification, there shall be no change in the VDA rates for Unskilled, Semi-Skilled, Skilled, and Highly Skilled categories of employees. Consequently, the minimum rates of wages including VDA, effective from 1st October 2025, will remain the same as those notified earlier on 1st April 2025.

Salary Calculation
To calculate the monthly salary, multiply the minimum daily wage (including VDA) by 26 days.
Monthly Salary = Daily Minimum Wage (including VDA) × 26
