Minimum Wages Revised in Bihar From April 2024 to September 2024
The minimum wages in Bihar have been updated for 69 scheduled employments, effective from 01 April 2024. A gazette notification dated 15 March 2023, has been issued for this purpose. According to the notification, the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been raised based on the Consumer Price Index numbers for the period from July 2023 to December 2023.
These revised minimum wage rates in Bihar will be in effect from 01 April 2024 to 30 September 2024.
