Mr. Asker Ali, IAS, Commissioner cum Secretary, DNH & DD issued an Official Notification dated 15 December 2022 regarding the increased Special Allowance Per Day in Daman And Diu.
According to the notification, Special Allowance Per Day has been increased by ₹ 4. Now the increased Special Allowance Per Day is ₹ 87.30. Earlier, it was ₹ 83.30.
Hence, the Latest Minimum Wages in Daman And Diu with effect from 01 October 2022 will be as follows:

Instruction :
- If the wages already being paid to the employees are higher than the declared minimum wage, the same should be continued.
- The employers shall have to pay the arrears to the employees with effect from 01 October 2022.
Salary Calculation
For the calculation of the Total Per Month, you have to multiply the Total Per Day by 26.
- Total Per Month = Total Per Day x 26
