The minimum wage rates in Assam have been revised for 98 Scheduled Employments, effective from 01 December 2023, and for Private Security Agency Houses, effective from 01 January 2024. Detailed information is provided below.

Minimum Wages in Assam Revised For 98 Scheduled Employments

The Labour Welfare Department of Assam has issued a notification on 10 July 2024, regarding the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) payable to employees/workers engaged in 98 Scheduled Employments in the state, effective from 01 December 2023.

The Labour Welfare Department of Assam has issued a notification on 15 July 2024, regarding the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) payable to employees and workers engaged in Private Security Agency Houses in the state, effective from 01 January 2024.
