The Governor of Jharkhand has declared the Holidays List of Jharkhand for the Year 2023.

Mr. Braj Madhav, Under Secretary to Government, Jharkhand has issued the notification dated 05 December 2022 in this regard.

According to the appearance of the moon, the date of the holiday fixed for Muslim Festivals can be changed.

Under the state government, the 5 days working week system in the secretariat and attached offices and the 6 days working week system in the regional offices will continue to be applicable.

Note: The Holidays mentioned below are falling on Sundays hence these have not been declared holidays separately, however in establishments where Sunday is a normal working day, there will be holidays on the dates given below.
