Bihar Minimum Wages Revised Effective From October 2025

The Government of Bihar has revised the minimum wages for 89 scheduled employments, including Shops & Establishments, Hotels, Restaurants, Private Security Agencies, Handloom Industry, Private Hospitals, and more.

According to the gazette notification issued on 24 September 2025, the revision includes an increase in the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), calculated on the basis of the Consumer Price Index numbers for the period January to June 2025.

The revised wage rates will be applicable from 01 October 2025 to 31 March 2026.
