The General Administration Department of the Uttarakhand Government has released the holiday schedule for 2025, applicable to all Government Offices and Banks throughout the state.

The holidays mentioned below in Annexure-1 are declared Public Holidays in the entire Uttarakhand state for the year 2025.

Government offices such as the Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, which operate on a 5-day workweek, will not observe the public holidays listed in Annexure-2 as regular holidays. Instead, these holidays will be considered restricted holidays, allowing employees to avail them within the limits set by the applicable policies and guidelines.
The Governor has declared the holidays listed in the following schedule as public holidays for the entire state of Uttarakhand in 2025.

- The public holidays declared in Annexure-1 will not be applicable to Banks, Treasuries, and Sub Treasuries.
Uttarakhand Government Offices Restricted Holidays List 2025
Each government employee is entitled to avail up to two (2) Restricted Holidays from those listed in Annexure-3, based on their preference.
