  • Break time tracking
  • Automatic calculation of daily and weekly totals
  • Hourly rate input for pay calculation
  • Mobile-responsive design
  • Real-time updates

How to Use

Entering Daily Work Hours

  1. For each working day:
  • Enter your start time using the “Start Time” field (24-hour format)
  • Enter your end time using the “End Time” field (24-hour format)
  • Enter any break time in the “Break” field using the HH:MM format (e.g., “01:30” for a 1.5-hour break)

Break Time Format

  • Use the HH:MM format for break time
  • Examples:
  • “00:30” for a 30-minute break
  • “01:00” for a 1-hour break
  • “01:45” for 1 hour and 45 minutes
  • “00:00” for no break

Setting Your Hourly Rate

  1. Locate the “Hourly Rate (₹)” field in the rate section
  2. Enter your hourly rate in Indian Rupees (₹)
  3. The total pay will update automatically

Reading Your Totals

The totals section at the bottom displays:

  • Total Hours: Sum of all working hours for the week
  • Total Pay: Calculated amount based on your total hours and hourly rate

Default Settings

  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday) are preset to:
  • Start time: 09:00
  • End time: 18:00
  • Break time: 00:00
  • Weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) are preset to:
  • Start time: 00:00
  • End time: 00:00
  • Break time: 00:00

Tips

  1. All times should be entered in 24-hour format
  2. The calculator automatically updates when you change any value
  3. Break time is deducted from the total hours worked
  4. If end time is earlier than start time, the total will show as 0:00
  5. The tool will calculate partial hours, so you can enter precise start and end times

Mobile Use

When using the calculator on a mobile device:

  • Fields will stack vertically for better visibility
  • Each day appears as a separate card
  • Labels are displayed above each input field
  • Totals appear in a column format

Calculations

  • Daily total = (End time – Start time) – Break time
  • Weekly total = Sum of all daily totals
  • Total pay = Weekly total hours × Hourly rate

Support

The calculator performs all calculations automatically in real-time. If you notice any discrepancies:

  1. Verify all times are entered correctly in 24-hour format
  2. Check that break times are entered in HH:MM format
  3. Ensure your hourly rate is entered correctly
