An official notification from the General Administration Department, Goa, dated October 25, 2023, has disclosed the lists of Public, Special, and Restricted Holidays for Government Offices, as well as the Holidays List for Banks in Goa for the year 2024.

Note :
- All Government Offices will be functional on Special Holidays except if the Special Holidays occur on Saturday or Sunday.
- Special Holiday at Sr. No. 1 & 2 applied shall be necessarily sanctioned. In case employees do not avail of the Special Holidays on the designated days, the holidays may be availed of any working days during the calendar year 2024 only.
- Special Holiday mentioned at Sr. No. 2 is subject to the appearance of the moon.
- Special Holidays can be prefixed or suffixed to any kind of Leave.
