The minimum wages in Bihar have been updated for 69 scheduled employments, effective 01 October 2024. A gazette notification issued on 30 September 2024, announces this update. The notification indicates that the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been increased based on the Consumer Price Index numbers for the period from January 2024 to June 2024.
The revised minimum wage rates in Bihar will be effective from 01 October 2024 to 31 March 2025.
