The Labour Welfare Department of Assam, through a notification dated 17 January 2025, has announced the revision of minimum wage rates for 98 Scheduled Employments. The updated wages, including the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), will be applicable to employees/workers engaged in these Scheduled Employments across the state, effective from 01 June 2024.
