The Labour Commissioner of Punjab has released an official notification on 28 November 2024, announcing revised minimum wage rates for Unskilled, Semi-Skilled, Skilled, and Highly Skilled categories in Shops and Establishments. These updated rates will be applicable from 01 September 2024 to 28 February 2025.

| Highly Skilled | ₹ 13,705.04 | ₹ 527.11 | ₹ 65.88 |
Salary Calculation
For the calculation of the Total Per Day, you have to divide the Total Per Month by 26.
- Total Per Day = Total Per Month ÷ 26
For the calculation of the Total Per Hour, you have to divide the Total Per Day by 8.
- Total Per Hour = Total Per Day ÷ 8
