An official notification released by Ms. Anita Debbarma, Under Secretary to the Govt. of Tripura, workers across various sectors can expect revised rates of wages.
The revised minimum wages for different categories of workers in the "Shops and Establishments" sector are as follows:
Skilled: ₹8,928 p.m.
Semi-Skilled: ₹7,983 p.m.
Un-Skilled: ₹7,277 p.m.
Revised Minimum Wages for Shops and Establishments
The revised minimum wages for different categories of workers in the "Private Security Guard" sector are as follows:
Skilled: ₹12,052 p.m.
Semi-Skilled: ₹10,953 p.m.
Un-Skilled: ₹10,249 p.m.
Revised Minimum Wages for Private Security Guard
The revised minimum wages for different categories of workers in the "Hotel and Restaurant" sector are as follows:
Highly Skilled: ₹12,889 p.m.
Skilled: ₹11,532 p.m.
Semi-Skilled: ₹9,497 p.m.
Revised Minimum Wages for Hotel and Restaurant
The Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been revised based on the 6-month average Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers, indicating an increase of 121 points.
Lesser Known Facts
To calculate the daily rates of wages, the total minimum rates per month should be divided by 26, rounding off to the nearest rupee.
Overtime rates will be double the ordinary rate of wages.
